Tony Woods is a one-of-a-kind comedic legend who is always in control of his audience. When Dave Chappelle recently accepted the Mark Twain Prize award for comedy, the first person he singled out in his speech was Tony Woods. “Comparing his influence to that of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie on Miles Davis, Chappelle spoke directly to Woods: “I was trying to play like you,” he said. “You were the first person I ever saw do it absolutely right.”
A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son's fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her.
Sophie has an uneventful life at her late father's hat shop, but all that changes when she befriends wizard Howl, who lives in a magical flying castle. However, the evil Witch of Waste takes issue with their budding relationship and casts a spell on young Sophie, which ages her prematurely. Now Howl must use all his magical talents to battle the jealous hag and return Sophie to her former youth and beauty.
