Comedian Bret Ernst Headlines at The Emmaus Theatre

On Friday evening Emmaus Theatre featured a hilarious 18+ night with comedians Lou Misiano, Steve Rinaldi, and headliner Bret Ernst. The theatre was filled with excited patrons waiting for the night to begin.

A show introduced as the “most Italian-ass show you’ve ever seen in your life,” by Misiano surely lived up to its name with hilarious comedy centered around the experiences of their lives. Misiano led in with a strong story about how being poor doesn’t affect his sex life.

Rinaldi poked fun at past relationships, comedy on aging, and something universally struggled with: Going to the gym. “I joined the best gym at the time, Planet Fitness. Planet Fitness never worked out for me, always ended up reading about it in the Chick-fil-A next door.”

Finally headliner Ernst made his appearance highlighted by “Jump Around” from House of Pain that pumped up the energy for the night.

With a rowdy crowd and laughter filling the auditorium, Ernst finished off his set with a meaningful message served best in his style of humor, “Take fucked up shit and make a funny out of it.”

Rinaldi does a monthly show called "7 for 7" at Souljoels and Misiano hosts the Official Roast Battle League in Philadelphia, PA. Catch Ernst at his next show at the Grand Comedy Club - Escondido, CA on Dec. 8-9.
